Some pieces don't go on the wrist or the finger - they go across the hand itself, and that changes everything. I made this for those who need to feel something moving through them - the spiral formed by hand from a single length of copper wire, coiled ring by ring from the centre outward until the form is complete, the wire tail extending across the back of the hand where it rests against the skin all day.
Copper has been worn against the body for thousands of years by people who needed their circulation to keep moving, and those who come back to me always say the same thing: their hands felt different in a way they couldn't explain and stopped trying to.
This is one of the last pieces I'll make before I close my workshop for good. I hope it finds the hands that need to feel the flow again.
HOW DO I KNOW IF IT'S REAL COPPER? + −
Pure copper isn't magnetic. Most of the copper jewellery sold online is either plated (a thin copper coating over a cheaper metal like steel or brass) or alloyed with enough iron or nickel to make it feel magnetic — that's the quickest way to spot a fake.
The test is simple:
- Grab any fridge magnet
- Hold it against your cuff, ring, or necklace
- If it sticks — even slightly — it isn't pure copper
- If it doesn't stick, you're holding the real thing
Every piece I make is 99.9% pure copper — never plated, never alloyed with cheap metals. Run the test on yours the day it arrives. If it ever fails, I'll refund you immediately.
