There’s a quality to the light just before the day settles softly, suspended, everything held in a quiet, warm blur. This piece carries that feeling. I reach for it when I want something close to the body that doesn’t announce itself, just rests there.
Each link in this chain is set by hand, smooth copper alternating with a finer mesh-textured link. The contrast is subtle, only visible up close, the way most good things are. The whole piece moves as one when worn, as if it was always there.
Copper worn close to the skin is something people have returned to for a long time across centuries and cultures. I don’t claim to know exactly why. I just know the people who wear it tend to keep wearing it.

HOW DO I KNOW IF IT'S REAL COPPER? + −
Pure copper isn't magnetic. Most of the copper jewellery sold online is either plated (a thin copper coating over a cheaper metal like steel or brass) or alloyed with enough iron or nickel to make it feel magnetic — that's the quickest way to spot a fake.
The test is simple:
- Grab any fridge magnet
- Hold it against your cuff, ring, or necklace
- If it sticks — even slightly — it isn't pure copper
- If it doesn't stick, you're holding the real thing
Every piece I make is 99.9% pure copper — never plated, never alloyed with cheap metals. Run the test on yours the day it arrives. If it ever fails, I'll refund you immediately.
